Entry-Level Machine Operator with Weekly Pay

BarryStaff is looking for Machine Operators for a plastic extrusion company that makes vinyl siding in Franklin, OH. This is a fast-paced position involving quality checks, sorting, and packing of finished product.

HOURS:

We’re offering 10-hour and 12-hour shifts on 1st and 3rd:

1st shift: 7am-5pm M-Th (10 hr) or 7:20am-7:30pm (12 hr) on a rotating schedule.

3rd shift: 7pm-5am M-Th (10 hr) or 7:20pm-7:30am (12 hr) on a rotating schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

Past production experience is preferred

Must be comfortable working on your feet

High school diploma or GED preferred

Must have a clean background (no felonies)

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Must have your own transportation to be considered.

NOTES:

All breaks during your shift are paid. Both shifts typically run a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, but you must also be available for mandatory overtime on Saturdays and Sundays as needed. This company is looking to hire permanently, and you are eligible for company benefits after 90 days.

Extrusion Process Technician (Franklin, OH)

In this role you’ll be asked to proficiently operate an extruder machine and all downstream equipment in a safe manner to manufacture a high-quality vinyl siding product.

Salary starts at $16 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate, understand, and troubleshoot ALL production- related equipment in any current production process – including but not limited to extruders, grinders, color feeders, slitters, slit/heat/form/nail tables, MRF, etc.
• Enter and maintain all required paperwork and data entry necessary in the operation including daily production reports, scrap reports, etc.
• Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications to include using micrometers, calipers, microscope, impact tester and any other equipment necessary to meet and assure compliance.
• Run tests/trials on production lines and document the findings clearly and concisely to the Engineering/Quality Departments.
• Effectively communicate with all team members and all levels of management any problems, trends, or improvements.

EDUCATION:
• High School diploma or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE:
• Prior extrusion experience desired
• Problem solving skills

Read, comprehend and execute processes according to the Standard Work Instructions necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product.

Production Operator (Franklin, OH)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Production Operator will package quality approved product.

Job duties include:
-Read production schedule and performs assigned work
-Inspects, feed and/or packs products
-Ensures that product has correct lot information printed on it
-Build/assemble boxes
-Notify supervisor of any safety, quality, mechanical or material issues
-Place finished goods on correct pallets
-Maintain a clean, safe work area

HOURS: 7:20pm-7:30am

RAISES:
Pay increases are as follows: NO “call offs”/missed days, or tardies (unless previously approved by Supervisor) within the first 60 days, will receive a $.50 cent increase
NO call offs-missed days, or tardies (unless previously approved by Supervisor) within the first 120 days will receive another $.50 cent increase

DRESS REQUIREMENTS:
Jeans, Steel-Toe Boots/shoes. They will supply the safety shirts/vest. No Shorts!

ATTENDANCE:
Your attendance is vital! Anytime you miss work you put your job in jeopardy! If you call off in your first week they WILL let you go. Pay increases are as followed: NO Call offs – missed days unless previously approved by supervisor within the first 60 days, $.50 increase: NO Call offs – missed days unless previously approved by supervisor within the first 120 days, $.50 increase: Potential increase to $13.00 to start.

Experienced Assembler (Franklin, OH)

What You’ll Do:

A machine assembler is someone who puts various parts together to make a finished product. They may use tools, machines, and their hands to make many things, such as engines, computers, aircraft, toys, electronic devices, and more.

What You’ll Need:

Must pass a math test before hire. Will quiz applicants over measuring, fractions and decimals.

Must have a clean background – no felonies, please

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Knowledge of micrometers and calipers a plus

Hours:

2nd shift: 2pm – 10:30pm

3rd shift: 10pm – 6:30am
