Quality Control Manager

Job Summary:

Assures the highest product quality throughout the entire process of procurement, handling, storage, assembly, testing and shipping. He or she will maintain the quality assurance system that assures compliance.

Manufacturing Support:

  • Develop and implement Q.A programs, systems, and procedures
  • Train, supervise and direct Q.A. inspection staff (2-3 team members)
  • Maintain SPC System
  • Establish Q.A. test parameters and set-up test equipment
  • Perform parts/product engineering
  • Assist in determining optimum manufacturing processes and methods
  • Ensure supplier quality certification
  • Establish, maintain and enhance computerization, Q.A. software programs and perform maintenance of computer hardware

ISO

  • Maintains Quality Assurance Manual
  • Ensures all employees follow all procedures per ISO13485, AS9100 and ISO 9001
  • ISO Management Representative and Lead Auditor (2 years minimum)

Lean Manufacturing

Continuous Improvement –Lean Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen, 5S

Charts and Procedures

Other

Perform other related duties and/or special assignments as required

Responsible for bill of materials and to enter into computer

Qualifications:

  • Requires a degree in a manufacturing-related field or equivalent in experience
  • A strong understanding of ISO9001, ISO13485 and AS9001
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in quality control.
  • Must be capable of developing and overseeing procedures to ensure that all products meet customer expectations.
  • Superior communication skills required to meet with vendors, suppliers and production and engineering managers to make certain the company’s quality programs are kept up-to-date to meet industry standards.
  • Must be familiar with all aspects of production equipment. – (Cable and wire harnesses)
  • Must be comfortable in working with statistical breakdowns and have the ability with mathematics.

Overnight Supervisor

DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for the overall performance of the entire night shift. The key areas of focus: following defined priorities, achieving production goals and meeting quality expectations. You’ll be responsible for the professional development of the team.

Starting salary ($20 per hour) can be higher for the right candidate with previous experience.

HOURS:

4:30PM – 5AM

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 7+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership role

Must pass a 10 panel drug screen

Must have a felony-free clean background.

Warehouse Supervisor (Dayton, OH)

Key Job Elements

1.) Enforce Company Policies and Procedures:

Communicate and adhere to company policies, procedures and facility work instructions.

Housekeeping policies – warehouse and employees

Assist in creating, upgrading, and implementing branch instructions.

2.) RIMS:

Maintain system, scan guns and wrist mounts.

Responsible for routing of all sales orders.

Set up all cycle counts for aisle responsibilities.

3.) Warehouse/Department:

Responsible for employee training and development.

Evaluate and monitor employee’s performance.

Keep open communication channels between warehouse leads, employees, departments and management.

Effectively communicate with Management on all warehouse activities, manning requirements, equipment needs, etc.

4.) Department Productivity:

Maintain tracking of all departments and employees on RIMS system.

Ensure all daily orders/activities are met.

Move resources where needed to accomplish tasks.

Set up and oversee daily audits/cycle counts and communicate results to management.

Complete any projects deemed necessary by management.

5.) Customer Satisfaction:

Ensure each warehouse department is performing to meet the goals of the company and needs of the customer.

Ensure daily priorities are processed through all departments in a timely manner.

Responsible for making sure weekly dock audits are completed.

6.) Attendance:

Supervisor’s attendance must meet company policies.

Responsible for record keeping/daily audits on employee’s attendance and tardiness.

7.) Quality/Environment Policies:

Knowledge and commitment to ISO 9001-2004 and ISO 14001 Environmental policies.

Knowledge of quality policy and how it pertains to job. Also must know how to communicate the policy to the warehouse employees and demonstrate how it applies to each function.
